Nueva Exposición: “América, El Portal” por Gina Intveen

La Antigua Galería de Arte is honored to present Chilean artist Gina Intveen in a solo exhibit entitled “America, El Portal”.

Mysterious feminine figures in profile, outlined in rich colors, overtly sensual and decorated populate the canvases that renowned Chilean artist Gina Intveen has prepared for this year´s exhibit.

For Gina Intveen, America is “that world that evokes a place populated with beings and realities of uninhibited nakedness. A land of magnificence and abundance. America is the portal to meeting new cosmogonies and visions, of rituals and syncretism. A gateway to mystery and possibilities of new realities and concepts captured in petroglyphs or in rude contrasts. It is the portal to invisible realities that invite you to explore ancestral depths. A world of creatures with symbiotic bonds, in their own lands and with their own people; beings that tattoo their environment and their emotions on their bodies and in their minds. America is the portal that welcomes and invites you to new perceptions and dimensions of the being human. An always original America that creates and recreates, again and again … the magic.

The exhibit will be opened at 4pm at La Antigua Galería de Arte on 5a. Avenida Norte No. 29 on calle del Arco (near the Arch of Antigua). Don´t miss the opportunity of meeting the artist, she will be present at the opening.

La Antigua Galería de Arte se enorgullece en presentar la exposición “América, El Portal” de la artista chilena Gina Intveen.

Misteriosas figuras femeninas en perfil, delineadas con ricos coloridos, y decoradas con motivos que resaltan la libre sensualidad femenina, pueblan los lienzos de la reconocida artista chilena Gina Intveen en la exposición que ha preparado para nuestra galería este año.

Para Gina Intveen, “América, es ese mundo vegetal que evoca un lugar de seres y realidades de desinhibida desnudez. Una tierra de magnificencia y abundancia. América, el Portal de encuentro de nuevas cosmogonías y visiones, de rituales y sincretismo. El Portal del misterio y de las posibilidades a nuevas realidades y concepciones capturadas en petroglifos o groseros contrastes. El Portal a realidades invisibles que invita a saberes y “haceres” y profundidades ancestrales.
“Un mundo de criaturas con vínculos simbióticos, con su suelo y con su gente, de seres que tatúan su entorno y sus emociones en sus cuerpos y en sus mentes.

América es el Portal que te recibe e invita a nuevas percepciones y dimensiones de lo humano, Una América siempre original, que crea y recrea una y otra vez…la Magia.”

La exposición se inaugura el día sábado 11 de febrero en a las 4pm at La Antigua Galería de Arte de la 5a. avenida Norte No. 29 (cerca del Arco de La Antigua). Venga a conocer a la artista, ella estará presente en la apertura. La muestra permanecerá abierta hasta el 10 de Marzo.
